As an Electronic Security Install Apprentice, you will help install and maintain security systems at customer sites. You’ll work closely with experienced team members who will guide and support you as you learn. You’ll get the chance to work with many types of technology and grow your skills on the job. This position supports our project at the Amazon Data Center in New Carlisle, IN, about 12 miles West of South Bend, IN. This is one of the largest economic development projects in Indiana's history. 

• Assist with installing security systems including cameras, alarm panels, and electronic locks.
• Help with basic troubleshooting, testing, and repairs for security equipment.
• Learn to read simple technical drawings and follow written instructions.
• Work with other technicians, supervisors, and clients to make sure projects go smoothly.
• Keep track of your work, including what you installed or fixed.
• Follow company policies and basic safety rules during all jobs.
• Train with senior staff to develop your knowledge and skills.
• Take on other related tasks as needed

• Graduate from a trade school or technical program is preferred.
• Some basic knowledge of electronic or physical security systems (school or hands-on training is a plus).
• Willingness to learn and ask questions.
• Basic computer skills—comfortable with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
• Able to follow directions, stay organized, and pay attention to details.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Ready to work on your own after being trained.
• Strong interest in technology and helping customers.
• Reliable and able to manage several tasks in a workday.
